Amy Dixon
FMC Accredited Mediator 

Amy is knowledgable and experienced in family law; assisting in cases child arrangements and financial matters in the family court from Magistrates level to the Royal Courts of Justice on a frequent basis, Amy has her finger on the pulse on the decisions made across a wide variety of court in England and Wales.

Amy is a dedicated mediator and considers mediation to be a swifter and more agile process in assisting parties resolve family matters. 

Amy mediates complex cases including international parents, high conflict child arrangements, complex financial matters and family disputes through mediation.   

With a real eye for detail and the need for real life agreements that work 'on the ground'. 

With a background as a property and tech CEO, complex financial matters including multiple property portfolios, trusts and businesses are within Amy's mediating comfort.

Jonathan Close
Working towards Accreditation

Jonathan is a retired police officer. He draws on broad life experiences as much as his personal skills honed from his 35 years of police service in his family mediation practice and helping individuals as a McKenzie Friend. 

He retired from the force as a Chief Inspector, having been involved in court work and frontline policing, particularly in dealing with time-critical situations. In addition to his practical experience, Jonathan has also pursued academic excellence, earning a Masters Degree in Fraud Risk Management. 

Since leaving the Police in 2023, he has been engaged in helping individuals through the McKenzie Friend scheme. He has also qualified as a Family Mediator and hopes to use his life skills to positively help people.

Emily Dobson 
FMC Accredited Mediator 

As a Family Mediator I am committed to helping families resolve their disputes in a constructive

way that considers the future needs of the whole family. Whether it is parenting, finances, property

of all of these issues; I help clients approach resolution through determining what is needed and what is fair. My practice is nationwide, and I offer appointment times to suit the busy lifestyles of my clients including evenings and weekends.

Lola Arigbabu
Working Towards Accreditation

Lola qualified as a solicitor 20 years ago. Her career has spanned multiple areas of law, including Family Law, Conveyancing, Wills, and Probate. She also had the privilege of contributing to global humanitarian efforts by working with the United Nations' World Food Programme for two years, gaining invaluable insights into international frameworks and cross-cultural collaboration.

Currently, Lola's work is focused on family mediation. As a committed family mediator, she is dedicated to guiding families through challenging transitions with empathy and professionalism. She devotes herself to helping separating couples reach amicable agreements on financial arrangements and fostering cooperative parenting strategies for their children post-separation. Lola’s approach emphasizes open communication, mutual respect, and practical solutions, ensuring her clients can navigate this difficult time with dignity and clarity.

With a wealth of legal knowledge and a deep commitment to conflict resolution, Lola strives to create a supportive environment where families can work towards positive outcomes.

Shani Slater 
Working Towards Accreditation

As a dedicated Family Mediator, Shani supports families in navigating conflict with compassion, clarity, and respect. With a background in psychology, social care education, she specialises in helping individuals and families reach mutually agreeable solutions during times of transition, such as separation, divorce, or co-parenting challenges.

Shani’s approach is grounded in empathy, active listening, and a commitment to empowering each party to express their needs and concerns in a safe, structured environment. She works to reduce tension, improve communication, and foster long-term cooperation—always with the best interests of children and family wellbeing at heart.

Whether working with couples, extended families, or intergenerational dynamics, Shani brings a calm, impartial presence and a deep understanding of the emotional and practical complexities involved in family life.
